Carol Hart Metzker is a writer, frequent speaker and author of the book,Facing the Monster: How One Person Can Fight Child Slavery. In 2004, an encounter with an 11-year-old girl rescued from slavery changed her life.

Today she works to end human trafficking and helps survivors locally and overseas. She volunteers at a Pennsylvania residence for female survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation and consults to The Salvation Army’s New Day to Stop Trafficking program.
